Title: Welcome Simon
Post by: Hyper on December 23, 2009, 09:23:29 AM
Just to let everyone know Simon Duggan (spell that right ? ) will be joining the dev team as a programmer/designer. I have worked with Simon in the past so he's a known quantity. Simon will take a look at porting the game over to the new engine and or some cleanup/upgrades to this one and will look into the multiple colony update.

Welcome to MCO Simon, it's great to have you on board. I'm sure that everybody will be estatic to have a new member, especially a programmer.

Welcome Simon,

Its great news that you have joined and hope to meet you on the surface of Mars soon. I, have been a long term tester for Hyperkat's MCO and I think it been about a year since I first 'landed'.
I look forward to 'meeting' you and wish you luck for the next stages of development.

Thank you all for the welcome.  As Hyper said, we have known each other for more than a few years.  I am glad Hyper told me about this when I phoned to wish him a Merry Christmas.  I look forward to seeing you all online and bringing MCO to fruition.

Currently I am away for Christmas, but am back this weekend, at which time as Hyper indicated, my first priority will be porting what currently exists to a new engine that will allow MCO to reach higher a plateau of excellence and thus bring you an even more challenging experience as development continues.

Until later, you all have a Merry Christmas

Simon

Sorry for the late reply to this party, but welcome Simon!  ;D
Was great fun chatting with you this weekend in the sim run.
Kudos on what you've done already and will do in the future.
