How do u get nitrate and phosphate to make nutrients for the algae.

You have to go mine the stuff. Part of the game will be to find the resources in phase 6 . You should have just enough to last till you get more. This is why I asked you do the geology work so you know what and where the resourses are.

you can also in an emergency use the ones in the farm fertilizer storage until you've found and mined some but be careful not to use all of it if you do and do not have sufficient remaining fertilizer you could run the risk of no crops growing and imminent starvation =D
