Title: Release 0.31
Post by: Hyper on November 29, 2019, 09:51:59 AM
I have released the first version of the Sim. This was mostly the original demo that I released over 10 years ago. I have updated the game engine and changed some of the art assets ( work in progress ). Go to the HyperKat website and download it.

So glad that you are still developing the Mars series. I have Steam Version Mars Colony: Challenger with 31 hours play time and Steam Version Mars Colony: Frontier with 19 hours play time. Just finished playing Frontier tonight and randomly went to your website to see if there was anything new tonight. So glad I did and saw you are working on updating the engine for Mars! Going to check out the demo Mars One.
Thanks for your support, Mars One will remain a freebie for you all. Tell others you know to join in!!

I am happy to return back!

Want to see that complex info screens near chairs and beds.
fixed in mission one There's no wall over elevator doors.
fixed in mission one Can take water pump when clicking on Mission Console too much close.
As a side note all the items in the cargo bays could be accessed, fixed them all

fixed in mission one Airlock cycling is quite fast and without venting sounds now.
If you dont hear the sound check your sound settings because there is a air pressure sound.

Start right at the endless frost night with several dust storms is quite harsh.
Weather system is totally random on reset and run.. should it not be?

Want to see local Mars time. At least, Sol counter of mission.
fixed in mission one Healthbar on zero from start.
Question here on the health bar, it's red for now.. should it be green then as you get damage change color?

Radioisotope generator inside the living space... is it healthy?
Lots of equipment on this mission, trying to move things around...

Thanks for reporting. Things you want to see and things I need to fix or update. Tell me what you like or not like and I will try to make changes. I am retired now so this will be my hobby, payback for all your support.

Version 0.32 is being worked on. Your databases will be saved for now so if you download a new version your mission status will remain the same.. Should have next one ready in couple days....
