Is there a chance that you could add a weather monitor to the computer that reports on the status of storm like in Frontier please Hyper? I think it would make gameplay a lot better because you could tell how much time you had till a storm, which you could then plan your moves and prepare for a storm. Plus mission control would be monitoring storms and relaying the info to the crew. Example...

"Storms detected moving to the (direction) of landing site, moving at (wind speed)MPH"

"Pressure drop, possible storm developing"

"warning high radiation levels, seek shelter"

"Warning storm in progress, seek shelter"

If you are planning on doing a full rework of Mars Colony Challenger, it would be handy to have this added to the weather terminal in phase 3 once the Satcom communications are up and all the weather stations are deployed and active.

I will get back to it soon as this one gets released. I have had massive medical issues last few years and just getting upright again. Plan is to address Frontier and Challenger.

Bean plants are invisible unless you are close to them. You can't see them if there are more than 2 planters inbetween you and them. The other plants can be seen from far away. Can be seen at least as far away as the airlock.

I don't get a GPR ping if I use it right on top of a resource.

Some resources overlap another resources. I'm not sure what I should do to access the other resources. When I drill for resources, I get one resources (I call this the dominant one) and not the other. Trying to drill underneath it doesn't work. The lowest point that yields high density samples continue to yield the dominant resource.

If you break the rover, you are in bad shape. I've tried to repair the rover many time (repairing about 10 points of damage each time), yet it would not move. You won't be able to move Augers at point because you need the rover for that. Breaking the rover while in the repair shop is OK. You can repair it there.

I shoulda known better than to say a technology doesn't exist.

Oh well. I'd like it if I didn't get a warning that the solar panels need to be cleaned more than once. It makes the game feel needy if it keeps repeating itself. I'd only like 1 warning per time it gets dirty.

As for soil quality, please only 1 warning for all 6. I don't need 6 messages telling me to tend to them.

Well, if you are going to ask questions here, then I'll ask my own.

How do you mine Iodine? The mineral guide doesn't list it. The only source that I'm aware of is what I can buy from the minerals person. I need it to make medicine.
That is a leftover from Frontier or Challenger, I'll fix it for 0.36

I know this is not the best place to put this, but I figured Hyper would see this here. Is Mars colony: Frontier still under development or is it done? I found some pretty nasty game breaking bugs that make the game unplayable...

How odd. I was able to make my own profile. Strangely enough, it made 3, all with the same name. I can find no differences between them. They have the same stats, including suit oxygen and power. They're probably pointing to the same profile.
I just made a new player which should do a game reset by the way. Looked in the database and all 3 are different.
Are you running the game as Admin ?

Maybe. Is there a way to check? I'm the admin of my own computer.

I created a new character and was able to switch between my old profile and the new one... until it crashed.

This should be better 0.36 and it should ALWAYS tell you when the panels are dirty. Would you like it not to say anything?

I should know when the solar panels are dirty. Its easy to figure out that you are not getting any power from the solar panels. I'm more annoyed that I have to clean them so often.

As for the farm, I don't think I should get a warning. My reason for saying so is because I don't think there is any way to monitor soil quality in real life. I'm expecting this game to be a simulator.

NOTES:
Weather system should work properly now. Everything is keyed to pressure. 0.4 to 0.9 low pressure will cause clouds to get thicker and fog to roll in should happen about 0.5 ish Above that clouds will thin with pressure level.

Radiation should be less at night since planet is turned away from sun.

Footstep sounds across all terrain textures work.
Computer wind speed and direction work usually runs west to east.
Launch dialog now checks for bad weather.
Water flow rate on separator should work now.
Keeping track of gametime now so I can use it for scores later. A day length should be one hour play time.
Sol clock added to UI
You will get a warning about leaving gear at the next landing site and will prevent launch till you clear it

I was playing around and found a few things that didn't work correctly
I think you may have different issues, things you describe here are not same as mine. Run the game in Admin mode and be sure not to unzip over an old version.

Toilet does not work right, when I tried to use it, the bar did not show any progress being made and when I closed the panel and clicked on the toilet again it said "You don't have enough fluids in your body."

Creating custom profiles will not work as well. If you create a new custom profile then select it the game will instantly freeze then crash, deleting the custom profile in the process. The only 2 I can select and use without the game crashing are Hyper and Pakka.
Crash it again and post the last 20 or so lines of the console.log file

When getting out of bed now instead of sometimes falling down to the first level of the cohab, you now get hurt and take damage instead.

Air scrubber does not seem to work correctly at the moment because it does not filter carbon dioxide automatically. In order to filter the CO2, you need to be pressing the stir button.

Player takes a lot of damage for unknown reasons when starting the game again in the cohab.
How much damage you talking about? There might be a little when you stand up but not more than 5%

And last one, the work orders section in the main computer does not recognize if the water pumps and the water seperator are active, it just says they are idle. I also shows work orders from other missions in the first mission.
Are you copying the game over an old version? That stuff should all work properly, at least it does here.
