Display Resolution Issues
« on: September 13, 2009, 11:56:42 AM »
Some of you are having problems with display resolution so here is the short answer:

The sim comes in window mode 1024 x 768
If your monitor display is set to 1024 x 768 the sim will shrink to the next smallest size usually 800 x 600
The sim will not work properly and any resolution smaller than 1024 x 768
Run the sim and go into options.
Check the box "Full Screen" and hit "Apply"
Then set the full screen size to 1024 x 768 and you should see all the dialogs properly

For those of you with widescreen monitors you will have to find the best setting to show the dialog boxes and make sure the graphics are not stretched or squished.

Thank you hyper I will give that a try.
Murphy's Law applies "Anything that can possibly go wrong, does." or some say it this way "If anything can go wrong, it will.

Let me guess... you have an ATI card?
ATI stopped support for OpenGL

What version do you have, i wouldn't recommend updating to the newest version, the 9* series of drivers have been pretty buggy.
