Portable Life Support System (PLSS) - idea

Portable Life Support System (PLSS)
(An equipement that will hold and generate Oxygen/Power reserves for usage in Long-Duration Mars Exploration)

PLSS is an equipment that player can carry around with him anywhere, and if he is in need - use the power/oxygen reserves that it has.
PLSS has a battery thats stores power, and an Oxy-canister for holding oxygen.
When a player is in need, he sets the PLSS on the ground, and use it as if it was an EVA-charging unit.
PLSS has a mini-MMRTG and a mini-Zirconia reactor.
Mini-MMRTG produces little power that is stored in the battery, while mini-Zirconia reactor uses martian CO2 (from air) and produces little O2.
Mini-MMRTG gives a lot of heat with is used by the Zirconia reactor.
That basicly means that after time the PLSS will completely refill on it's own.
The PLSS doesn't give enough power/oxygen to charge EVA-suit indefinitely...instead it just extends the time an astronut can make EVA operations.
