hahaha yea i remember that nearly killed myself trying to get out.

I always remember the first time returning to the base just after dark. seeing the lights in the distance as the rover came over a hill. I dont know why but its the first thing i think of when i think about MCO.

Whenever I think of MCO I think of being on a hill by a weather unit with a rover looking down at the base.

i have mixed memories...lol whenever i think of MCO i usualy think about all the fun i have with the other testers rolling around in the rovers doing GPR work or any of the other tasks we can share... then theres time all i can think about are the 2 new testers that looged on and decided to go out and play bumper rovers ...#$^&%#$@@ .... there excuse  "we were testing collision meshing" and how i was left to fix em and bring em back to base lol either way i always have a blast on there and cant wait for the next one.

Let's test collision meshing with the rovers... I know, how about you just walk into a rover... or maybe lightly push it with another rover... don't destroy them. Anyway this brings up an interesting note for you Hyper. The rovers when driving at about 6-7km don't seem to push players with them. Instead the player slides through the rover, collision meshing is bugged a little there.

Hey i only tried to run you over on purpose a couple of times... =D besides your the one that ran that rover outa gas and i was getting bored going back and forth trying to get it lol ...ahh fun times =D

hehe....     well-   i decided once to put in a little joke here.

i took a nice screen-shot of our red planet....a rover in the front.   i added a picture of an old and rusty COKE-sign that was half in the sand.....(bad luck, i deleted it).
I posted it in the forum with a comment....

errr.....okay-   Hyper was not realy amused....

but....hell....i sometimes have to do some nonsense....

Remember that one test, oh so long ago, when we were being cloned on spawn? we were stacking up in the EVA gear room and Hyper had to reset the server. I think it was outzoner that started all that, wasn't it?

    everytime somthing strange happens, the people always talking about me........why???

same in real life.......    every time a loud and shoking noise happens, my mates asking: "by the way...where is Mike???"


but no-  this one was startet by marco-   yes i helped him to check how the cloning works, but he found that bug.

.....i can remember that test, were i was heading far out and suddenly had water warning.

i tried to get back to base very fast....too fast in fact-so i crashed the rover.
other testers tried to help me-two other rovers were heading to my position.
they reached me an brought me to base...but bad luck....right in front of front door,my avatar died....

suddenly i noticed that i was sweated....and my wife was laughing..:"its just a game,eh!!!)

that was a bit embarrassing....
