From Earth to mars
« on: July 15, 2011, 01:13:26 PM »
maybe i ask you iff you will make the plot a litte bigger.
let me tell how the game and simulation can be for gamers a knewl and a nice experience
1st They start a ship to Mars (3-4 options a, b single ship, a supply ship and a crew of a second ship c, send more ships with equipment and two crews to Mars

(I mean the player explores the art of travel in - has the possibility to share the charge-exchange (more water, more technology, or even more crew))

2nd Can happen on the flight to mars 2-3 accidents (from 40 options to pass 2-3 / suicide, loss of food, water contamination, broken radio, etc.) which makes it difficult to start the base of the Mars

3rd Landing on Mars (not simulated only one card vomplaneten and 20 possible landing points)

then it would go on as before (Fit base, ore looking water, etc.)

i know a lot of thinks to do, only a info how the stuff will get more fun

It would take too much time and coding to actually have a space flight mission.

I like that idea, a choice of having to survive to get there- much like surving on the planet but inside the ship (mostly) I am thinking course corrections, burns for intercepting orbit, going EVA to repair the hull etc.. with a real nice landing/ de- orbiting animations (from inside FPS perspective strapped in the seat) using the games graphics.. etc

Would be fun, but would require a long time to script that... :(
